Cambodian PM Has Direct Contact with French President

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has said that he has a close relationship with French President, Emmanuel Macron, and even has several of his direct contacts.

The Prime Minister revealed this during the graduation ceremony for students of the University of Human Resources on Monday morning, 20 February 2023, at the OCIC Conference Hall in Phnom Penh.

Prime Minister Hun Sen said that he is directly connected with President Macron in up to three messaging applications: WhatsApp Telegram and Signal. He revealed that their close relationship results from his work with France on international relations and world security, which he cannot disclose further to the public.
